BREAKING: NBA’s Post About Nikola Jokic is Turning Heads
The Denver Nuggets may have lost Game 2 of their NBA playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday, but it didn’t stop Nikola Jokic from adding more to his legacy.
Jokic finished the contest with 26 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, helping the Nuggets put up a strong fight before eventually falling to the Clippers, 105-102.
While it was far from a perfect performance for Jokic—who also had seven turnovers in the contest—the fact remains that he carried the Nuggets and allowed them to stay in the tightly contested affair. The two teams found themselves on a deadlock 12 times, with the game featuring 18 lead changes.
Regardless of the loss, Jokic’s all-around display meant that he now has 19 triple-doubles in the playoffs. He remains third on the list for most triple-doubles in the postseason, trailing Magic Johnson (30) and LeBron James (28).
The NBA posted about Jokic’s accomplishment on social media, which drew plenty of praise for the Serbian big man.
“Elite company for Nikola Jokic,” the NBA wrote, along with a graphic showing the Nuggets center’s feat.
“Legends only,” a commenter wrote. Another one said, “This man Jokic is a triple double machine.”
“That a GOAT,” a hyped supporter added.
A fan shared, “Nice work nikola.”
“Nikola is doing great. Talent with a show of greatness,” a fifth follower stated.
An excited social media user remarked, “Jokic just keeps redefining greatness—what a legend in the making!”

Nikola Jokic would have probably preferred the win over the individual accolade. But there’s no denying that in order for the Nuggets to beat the Clippers, he will have to produce at a similarly high level.
With that said, it will be interesting to see if Jokic can replicate his Game 2 performance in Game 3 while leading the Nuggets to victory.
