After securing their first win under interim head coach David Adelman, Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic opened up about the firings of both coach and GM.

Jokic revealed that he was informed of the decision ahead of time, as team owner Josh Kroenke told him they had made the choice to part ways with both.

“I knew a little bit before everybody,” Jokic said via Bennett Durando. “And (Josh Kroenke) told me, ‘We made a decision.’ So it was not a discussion. It was a decision, and he told me why. So I listened and I accept it.”

With the win, the Nuggets are currently fifth in the Western Conference, tied with the Los Angeles Clippers at a 48-32 record. Their next two games, against the Grizzlies and Rockets, will be crucial, as they have yet to secure their playoff spot, sitting just one win above the play-in tournament.
