BREAKING: Ex-NBA Player Doesn't Hesitate to Name Star Nuggets Should Trade After Playoff Exit
The 2024-25 NBA season has come to a disappointing end for the Denver Nuggets as they were eliminated by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the second round of the playoffs.
Denver was able to fight back in the series after falling behind 3-2 after losing Game 5 in Oklahoma City as they forced Game 7 with a victory at home in Game 6.
Despite this, the Nuggets’ lack of depth was a massive factor in Game 7 on Sunday afternoon as they were blown out by 32 points by the Thunder.

This marks the second consecutive season Denver has been eliminated in the second round after they were stunned by the Minnesota Timberwolves last season.
Because of this, the Nuggets may make some changes to their roster in the offseason to retool around their star center Nikola Jokic.
Of course, the Nuggets could elect to move on from a number of players that include Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon but former NBA player Chandler Parsons believes they should trade Michael Porter Jr. in the offseason.
“Porter is the one I think the fans grew frustrated with,” Parsons said. “He’s very inconsistent, he shot extremely ineffective from the field in this series. The window is closing. Jokic is getting older. This team is built to win now and they're not winning.”
Michael Porter Jr. is who the Denver Nuggets should trade this offseason, says Chandler Parsons 👀

This is a bold statement by Parsons but one that is not out of the question this offseason.
Porter Jr. struggled shooting the ball during the playoffs and while that could have been caused by his left shoulder injury, he was almost unplayable at times, especially in the second round.

Because of this, the Nuggets could look to trade him and add either another star player or much-needed roster depth in the offseason as they try to build another championship caliber team around Jokic, Murray and Gordon after back-to-back early playoff exits.
