BREAKING: Nikola Jokic’s Behavior Before Nuggets Game is Turning Heads
After splitting the first two games in Oklahoma City, the Denver Nuggets returned home on Friday for Game 3 of their best-of-seven series.
The Nuggets went the distance in their first-round matchup against the Clippers, so it’s been a demanding postseason so far. Their fatigue showed in their most recent loss, where they gave up a staggering 149 points.
One player who struggled was Nikola Jokic. He entered Friday’s game looking to bounce back after scoring just 17 points in Game 2.
He seemed ready to make a statement—and did so with his pregame outfit. Commonly nicknamed “Joker,” Jokic’s wardrobe choice, which resembles the Batman villain, before Game 3 raised some eyebrows and had fans buzzing online.
“Why so serious,” the Denver Nuggets X account posted.

Jokic led the Nuggets to an NBA championship in 2023, where he was named Finals MVP. The 30-year-old Serbian center has also earned three regular-season MVP awards and has been selected to the All-Star team seven times.
He remains the cornerstone of Denver’s success. During the regular season, he ranked third in the NBA in scoring, averaging 29.6 points per game. He also contributed 12.7 rebounds and 10.2 assists per game.
Drafted in the second round in 2014, Jokic has played 69 or more games in ten straight seasons. Over his career, he’s averaged 21.8 points per game in the regular season.
Following Game 3 on Friday, the two teams will meet again Sunday afternoon in Denver. The series then returns to Oklahoma City for Game 5 on Tuesday. If needed, Game 6 will take place Thursday in Denver, with a potential Game 7 scheduled for May 18.
