Giants of Old: Discoveries Whisper Truth

October 15, 2024

Many ancient anecdotes and legends describe giants as tall and extremely strong. Recently, a series of skeletons of enormous height were discovered, which sparked public curiosity: are they giants?

Throughout the history of mankind, many ancient civilizations such as Rome, Greece, etc. have anecdotes and ancient legends that mention the appearance of giants. They are described as being between 2 and 3 meters tall and possessing extraordinary strength.

Among them, the Irish passed on fascinating anecdotes about giants who easily created an island in the middle of the sea simply by lifting a large rock with their hands and throwing it into the sea.

Therefore, for many people, giants are just figments of the imagination.  by ancient people. However, in recent decades several extremely tall skeletons have been found, causing some people to doubt that giants really exist.

Specifically, in July 2021, Chinese archaeologists announced that they had discovered two tombs containing two complete sets of remains in Shandong Province. They belong to men who are 1.9 m and 1.8 m tall respectively. The results of chronological tests show that these people lived about 5,000 years ago.

According to researchers, about 5,000 years ago, two “upper giants” lived in the lower reaches of the Yellow River. They cannot figure out why these two men are so tall.

In 2011, Renato Dávila Riquelme, an expert from the private museum Ritos Andinos in Peru, caused a stir when he announced the discovery of a corpse with a giant skull in Peru. Measurement results showed that the skull was up to 50 cm long. Despite many tests, scientists have not been able to determine what race this person belongs to.

In 1940, archaeologists carried out an excavation in Argedava, Romania, and hired several local inhabitants to help with some of the work. As a result, elderly woman Ionita Florea accidentally discovered a skull almost three times larger than that of a normal person. This attracted the group of experts because they thought it could be part of the giant’s remains.

So, experts and people conducted an excavation and found 80 sets of skeletons suspected to be giants. They then moved these remains and found artifacts to another location. Since then, no one has known any information about whether the mentioned corpses really belong to giants or not.

In May 1912, archaeologists from Beloit College in the US unearthed 18 sets of remains in the Delavan Lake area of Wisconsin. What surprised them was that these corpses were much larger than the size of normal people.

Because the remains discovered in the Delavan Lake area have an average height of 3 to 5 meters, which makes many people speculate that they are the remains of giants.
